Two weeks in Phoenix....

After passing through immigration my Mom, and Bobby's grandparents met us at the airport.

Phoenix was a whirlwind.  Our first week 3/4ths of us came down with strep and were on antibiotics.  There was a lot of sleeping, drugs, cuddling, and going to appointments.

Not a great picture -- but this is all of us eating at Smash Burger....we were all sick and hadn't been to the doctor yet.  I  think you can see the miserableness...

The first weekend we were there my brother Justin, my Uncle Larry and Aunt Dawn, and my Papa came to Arizona to see us and meet the kids.  Also our family friends that live in Arizona came over to see us.  It was awesome to see family, and I loved watching them interact with the kids.

In Arizona, it is warm enough to swim in December.  George loved being in the water, but knew that he couldn't swim so he held on...tight.

Gergana knew she loved the water and we learned she could not swim when she repeatedly stepped off the stairs and waited for us to pull her above the water....talk about heart attack central the first time she did it.

My mom gives every grandbaby a Build-A-Bear when they are born.  Since Gergana and George are older, they got to build theirs.  They had a blast :)

We went to Bobby's Oma and Grandpa Richard's house and they took us to a train playground...

went down a bunch of slides

and so did the grandparents :)

then they took us to this beautiful house in Arizona with TONS of Christmas lights...

They were too excited about the lights to focus on taking pictures...

Then my friend Elizabeth came down and suprised us and spent a day with us.  I know she took lots of pictures...which I need to kidnap from her still...But we spent the day shopping and took the kids to their first movie - we saw Wreck it Ralph.  They did pretty good until the last 20 minutes, when the movie slowed down too much.  

Bye-bye Arizona!

Arizona was an awesome trip, minus the being sick portion, and I'm so happy that they got to meet so many of our family members.

We are settling in nicely into our new apartment in Germany, and I promise to post more soon!
