Our first weekend together

Saturday was spent driving to Sofia.  It was supposed to be a 5 hour drive that turned into 9 hours.  Between the bathroom breaks, and throwing up - it was an intense trip.  Gergana and I sat in the back and played.  She brushed my hair, we played on the phones, we played guess which hand it is in, sang the ABCs and she even took a 10 minute nap.

George sat between Papa and Dani in the middle seat in the van.  They did there best to distract him from looking out the window.  Dani picked up some medicine from the pharmacy to help with the car sickness. It helped a little bit, as he didn't throw up the first time until about 2 hours into the trip.  We went through the rest of his cloths, and lost the last 2 jackets we had.  George ended up in a pair of his sister's size 8 pants folded over and up as much as we could.  We just carried him everywhere since they wouldn't stay up ;)

We checked into our hotel, and played a little bit.  We went to the hotel restaurant for dinner.  We've learned George is a little pit picky.  He must have cucumbers and a tomato, and will eat bread things like sandwiches or rolls, but not much else.  Gergana on the other hand wants a bite of what everyone else has.  They both will push their plates away when they are done.  They are awesome!!!

We gave them their rain boots and they loved wearing them.  They will only wear them outside of the room now.  George will pee in the potty, but not poop.  We had quite an adventure when I went to fix his pant leg and stuck my hand in some poo.  Talk about an unexpected surprise.  Bobby couldn't stop laughing, and kept saying "theres a turd in my boots."  Needless to say George is going to wear pull-ups until we make it home.  We are going to go to the mall tomorrow and see if we can find a toddler potty to see if that will help.

At breakfast today they brought us so much food, and once we would eat some, they would bring us more.  They each got a glass of apple juice and chocolate milk.  Geoge ate 1.5 croissants, cucumbers and tomatoes.  Gergana ate an egg, some cheese and meat, cucumbers, toast, croissants, and butter.

Look Mama I can put my sweater on :) 

She loves this toy -- it is a LeapFrog MP3 players -- she now hums the alphabet song :)

p.s. I let them have a bath last night.  They were having way too much fun - I just closed the shower curtain to contain the excitement :)
